Preconstruction
Associated prides itself in its ability and commitment to develop very detailed and accurate construction cost estimates promptly throughout the PreConstruction process. Our PreConstruction services hep owners to better assess, plan and budget their capital needs for a project. PreConstruction services form an integral part of the service we provide as a CM at Risk. Using these estimates, project costs are conveyed to the Project Team (i.e. Owner, Architect, Consultants, and Construction Professionals) as well as confirmation that cost is in alignment with the design intent. All aspects of the project are quantified and priced by our experienced estimating department using current and historical unit pricing.
We facilitate a positive and productive PreConstruction phase by actively performing the following tasks:
1. Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates
2. Prepare Comprehensive project summary and trade narrative
3. Organize interactive and productive design team meetings
4. Involve competent subcontractors on major trades as early as possible
5. Coordinate Site investigations
6. Produce accurate value engineering and cost reduction initiatives
7. Verify subcontractor scopes of work during the final bidding process

General Contracting Services
Associated was founded as a General Contracting firm in 1942. Since that time, Associated has expanded its methods of building delivery, however, General Contracting has remained a core specialty. Projects include work in both private and public markets and as a result Associated remains competitive and keenly aware of construction costs.
Design/Build Services
Before the Design/Build delivery system was considered a typical alternate choice to design/bid/build, Associated was engaged in multiple Design/Build projects. For over 60 years, Associated has actively pursued these types of projects with our seasoned group of professionals to offer transparency and a strong support team from the project’s conception.
