Rocky Hill, CT – On Tues. March 1st, Sarah Giardini, Marketing / Business Development at The Associated Construction Company, was recognized by Professional Women in Construction (PWC) with the 2015 Rising Star Award. Only 1.5 years into her career, Giardini has already greatly contributed to the firm’s marketing and business development efforts in addition to her high level of involvement with the industry’s various organizations.

The award is given to a woman who has been in the A/E/C industry less than 7 years, who has demonstrated ethics and values, has the ability to learn and think quickly, focuses on customer’s needs and sets high standards for themselves. They have the ability in building rapport and managing conflict.

Giardini was nominated by co-worker Patrick Hulton, Director of Legal Compliance, who stated “[Giardini] possesses a remarkable combination of aggressive, youthful exuberance with an intelligent, mature focus.”

Sarah M. Giardini graduated in 2014 from Dickinson College with B.A. in International Business & Management and French with a focus on Marketing. She joined Associated Construction in 2014 to lead the firm’s rebranding efforts and continued her work in marketing and business development after the completion of the re-brand. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Professional Women in Construction’s Connecticut Chapter, the Board of Advisors for the Construction Institute, and is a member of the Hill-Stead Museum Marketing Committee.
