Associated Construction was the Construction Manager for this new branch in Avon, CT. The work included new vault, walls, ceilings, and millwork; AHU, ductwork, and RGDs, all connected to emergency power systems. This project also included a brick veneer and natural products on the exterior. All the above-described activities were closely coordinated with both the Sovereign department heads and CBRE. The original schedule was met even with the additional scope added during the project.
This project was a swift track schedule and designed on the fly. We worked closely with the Architect & Engineer as a team, and the net result for the owner was a project that completely fell within their timeline and budget; this is why Sovereign continues to have Associated construct new branches project after project. The project took place on a very tight site with businesses on both sides of the site and played a significant factor in daily coordination on this project.
