Joseph jankowski

President

Joseph joined Associated Construction in 1984 and has almost 40 years of extensive experience in technical projects which impart a high level of skill, experience, and management techniques. The diversity of positions held includes Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager and Project Executive. Joe led the firm as Vice President for 15 years before being promoted to President. The skills obtained through his experiences have been mainstreamed into Associated’s operations, and factor greatly into its continued success. Joseph received a degree in Construction Management from CCSU, and is a member of 2 boards and committees, AGC – CT Past Board Member and AGC – CT Vice President.

His first job at Associated was in 1984 working on the Housatonic Wastewater Treatment Plant.  He was the “rod man”; meaning that he held the “dumb” end of the tape for our company surveyor.  What Joe enjoys most about construction is taking a project from when it is merely a vision, being part of a team that gives that vision life, and ultimately making that vision a reality of a building that brings value.
