Roger Barshan

Honorary Vice President of Environmental Construction

Roger joined Associated in 2020 as VP, Director of Environmental Construction, and brings widespread knowledge in this industry sector. He received his bachelors at Central New England College in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA at Anna Maria College, and is a Certified Cost Engineer and Safety Trainer. His long career began with his first project in 1981 at the Boston Edison Nuclear power plant. Roger applies his skill set to his position supporting Associated’s environmental work since his first project at the Hartford Trash to Energy Plant for Northeast Utilities. Roger thrives on working to improve processes and coaching others and says what he enjoys most about Associated is the company’s dynamic environment. When Roger is not working, he finds great delight in traveling, and plans to continue doing so.

As the driving force behind the Environmental Department’s growth over the past five years, Roger has set a standard of excellence that will continue to shape our culture. We are grateful for his accomplishments and his enduring loyalty to Associated Construction.

Stephen now carries that legacy forward, leading the team with full authority and responsibility as we move into the next chapter of growth. Stephen, I place my trust and confidence in you.
