I.M. Pei designed the Bushnell Tower Plaza & Condominium Complex, consisting of a 27-story tower comprising 180 residential luxury condominium units. The building overlooks Bushnell Park and several historic downtown Hartford, CT sites. The Tower structure is steel-framed with poured-in-place concrete. In addition to the Tower building, construction included the 500-car parking garage below the plaza that extends south and houses several commercial & retail businesses. This was a HUD-funded project; Change Orders were below 3% and approved by the agency and the developer.
